Alteration to hem ski pants
I would like to hem ski pants and wonder if that is doable and someone you'd recommend in Berkeley or Oakland for this? I saw reviews for pants and jeans but wondering given the technical nature of ski pants does anyone have experience with this? Thank you.

It's possible but it will probably negatively affect the ability of the ski pants to keep water out. I know there is a place right next to REI in berkeley that does gear repair, they could probably point you in the right direction of someone. It would be really hard/impossible to hem the ski pants and do it in a water that kept the seam against snow/water.

I recommend Narain’s. They recently beautifully repaired a 4” rip in my daughter’s Gore-Tex ski parka.
Their hours are very limited, open Friday and Saturdays midday.
They are very friendly, kind, helpful and affordable!
